Share Your Cup Thursday #57 and Homemade with love. . .

Hello my friends and welcome to Share Your Cup.  The party where you share what ever it is in life that makes you happy.

Last week there were so many wonderful links.  I had such a hard time picking just a few.

Before I show you this weeks features I want to share with you something that makes me happy, happy, happy!

A couple months ago my sister, Julie came up for a visit.  She brought me a bottle of her homemade lotion.  I loved it and wanted to share the recipe with you.

Three basic ingredients:  These all came from Wal-mart.  I bought the no name brands because they were less expensive.

Homemade Lotion:

1 c. cheap baby lotion

1. c. Vitamin E Cream

1/2 C. Vaseline

a little water ( I added just a few tablespoons till it felt like the consistency of lotion)

Yesterday I had my Achievement Day girls make and fill a bottle for their Mothers for Mothers Day.  I brought paper and embellishments for them to decorate the jars.  Look how creative they are.

My eyes have always been sensitive. The older I get the worse they’ve become.  A lot of lotions are so strong smelling that they make them burn.  This has a nice scent and makes your hands and feet feel as soft as a babies bottom!

Now for the features:

Penny from Pennys Treasures shared her cottage travel trailer.  All she has to do is remove that pink door, hook her up, and be on her way.  How fun is that?

IMAG0762

Jeanette from Creating a Life Now shared Spring on her back porch.  Oh how it made you want to hang out for a while!

I also loved her back porch ‘to do ‘ list.

Shawn from Poetry in a Pot of Tea shared not one, but two fairy gardens.  Both were just darling! Hop over to see the other one.

I have a passion for gardening and there were so many gorgeous gardens shared last week.  Basically I just pulled one out of a hat.  So hard to choose!  Stefanie from Rose Petals and Rust definitely lives up to her blog name with these beauties!

Look at this amazing craft room shared by Maria Elena from Home Away from Home.  I love the PB copy cat cabinets her hubby built.

And isn’t this lamp shade sweet shared by Restoration Redoux?  She gives a great tutorial.

Kitty's Kozy Kitchen shared her recipe for Cream Cheese Danish.  How did she know I have a weakness for those?

Thanks so much everyone for sharing!  Please grab my button if you were featured.

A few rules and then let the fun begin!

1. I would love for you to be a follower of Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson.
2. Link up a particular post and not your entire blog. Please limit your links to no more than three.
3. Please have a link back to this post. That way others will know where the party is. Feel free to grab my button on the sidebar if you’d like. Only those with a link back will be featured.
4. Please find time to visit at least two other participants. It’s a great way to find new friends.

After you link up please come back and leave a comment. They help to fill my cup

I can't take any scent at all in lotions etc...it is Neutragena or Aveeno for me, so this recipe is probably right up my alley! :)
