Peters in the Garden!

Do you see him?  Looks like he’s brought along his little sister.  Silly rabbits think they can hide behind the tomato cages.

IMG_0847

Of course his favorite spot is among the Butter Crunch lettuce.

IMG_0848

I’m surprised he hasn’t noticed these rows of leaf lettuce and radishes.

IMG_0852

Oh no, he seems to be looking this way.

IMG_0851

Hubby put this small garden area in for me last year and I have loved it.  My peppers and squash are planted back by the fire pit.

IMG_0853

The cabbages are planted a ways away or surely he would have nibbled them.

IMG_0854

I’ve tucked four hills of pumpkins in between my back row of roses.  Not sure how it will work out, but thought it might be kind of fun.  Do rabbits like pumpkins?

IMG_0849

He ought to try muchin on these chives.  That would give him some onion breath.

IMG_0846

Good thing that the carrots are so slow and that you can barely see a hint of green.  Other wise I’m sure I’d be askin?  What’s up Doc?

Have you had any critters munchin on your garden lately?

hugs,

Jann

Nice looking garden! I also have 'bunnies' in my garden. I do have slugs attacking a few of my plants, nasty little things.

Your garden is really looking good Jann! No garden/no critters here. Our son put the garden in but I'm afraid the rain may have washed out the seeds before they even germinated! I'll have a look today. Enjoy the day and some nice salad greens!

Your garden is beautiful. I'm sure you'll have lots to eat. We have bunnies in our yard and I just adore them. Right now we see a momma and baby out there pretty often.

Everything is looking wonderful, Jann. I finally have a working computer!!! The rabbits chewed all my tulips down to the ground this year- crazy things! I think I got about 1/4 the blooms as normal- ugh- xo Diana

Your garden looks wonderful! No garden for us this year, as our whole backyard is under reno, but we do have two tomato plants in pots, so that will have to do! Your chives look especially pretty. Take care

Jann, your garden looks so pretty! The bunnies are cute as can be, too. My garden is planted in two deep planter boxes. Some sort of insect has been nibbling on the mustard and Georgia Collards I planted. I stuck some garlic cloves around in them this afternoon. I planted scattered some Marigold seeds around when I put the plants in and they have begun to come up, so I am hoping they will help out, too, with deterring the pests. Happy Gardening!

Hi Jann,

Oh you've done so many wonderful posts. I love your yard, so green and flowered. Those greens are wonderful, good luck with Peter.

I quite enjoyed the peek at your craftroom too. It's gonna be a winner. I just switched around 3 rooms so I could move my craftroom and re-style it...and sabotaged my internet by messing with the wires. I've been offline and hadn't thank you for posting with Mid Century Cafe. Sorry about that, I really value your support.

It looks like you are enjoying the season, I wish you well,
Vicki

Adorable post! And what an orderly garden. We have no bunnies - but Mama groundhog bypasses the nice cucumber and veg I set out for her and visits the back porch for some kitty kibbles every morning.
