Spring Fever

Oh how I can't wait for Spring! Yesterday was all sunshiny and it looked like such a gorgeous day but oh how that wind did chill. That didn't stop me from picking up a few primroses at Home Depot. If Spring won't come to me, I'll bring Spring to myself. Just something about those little smiling flowers that will brighten anyones day. I'm going to pot some for my porch. Even if Mr. Winter does decide to visit us again (which I'm certain he will) It won't bother those little guys. The older I get the more I realize that I shouldn't wish time to move faster. But I just can't help it when it comes to Spring. It is my favorite season. I love to walk around the yard and see the perennials poking themselves up out of the ground. It excites me because I realize that soon I will have a gorgeous bloom in my yard. My daffodils are up about 4" so I know that Spring is close by. So to all you Spring lovers-hang in there it's sure to arrive! Now off to planting.

I'm glad you are enjoying signs of spring. I am just happy to see the mounds of snow melting (smile!). Cache Valley is usually a month behind you so it is still too early for signs of spring.

Ky, Love that you love flowers also. J.F.Y.I. I actually started to rake up all the crud on the lawn when I started feeling a blister coming on. So I figured what the heck it's such a nice day just go for it. Dad lowered the wheels down and we couldn't believe how much dead we go off it. Haven't done the back yet so expect to hear that mower humming again.

Tell Ky thanks for the tip. I don't think I found your new posts the way she told me to,but what does it matter if I found them. I am so glad you got a jump start on your yard. I will be able to come over and enjoy the flowers, the grass, the vegetables, the fountain, the playhouse, the trampoline, the birds, the smells the sounds, and I could go on and on. maybe Shultz will throw another shrimp on the barbi. Maybe I shouldn't push my luck. I love being in your yard. I know you work very hard in your yard and you share the rewards with all that comes your way. You are a very generous friend and you have a very nice green thumb. You should be in the garden show! Again!
