Call 911-Something's Brewing

Oh my friends, I need to call 911!

I have had a terrible fever the last few days.

Yup, for sure. . . something is brewing!

I get it every year, but this year it has hit me hard.

Did you guess it?
I have a bad case of 'Spring Fever'!

Usually it doesn't come on until after Valentines Day.  But as some of you may know, a friend and I shared a booth at a vintage sale last Saturday, called Fleology.
It is hosted by another friend, Paula from Pollyanna Reinvents.  I have gotten to know her since my 'meet and greet' last June and she's such a talented lady!

During the warmer months she holds it at her home in the gardens.  But this January sale was held at Olson's Greenhouse.
(no relation, I might add.  but they do spell it correctly)  :)

photos of our booth.

The greenhouse had lots of pretty pink Geraniums and one area by the pond was blooming.  Yes, beautiful purple blossoms of Myrtle were calling out and giving me the 'fever'.  lol!

Can you believe I didn't take a single photo?

But I did come home with these.

I may have to 'force' myself to wait for Spring, but while doing that I can 'force' a few Spring blooms.

How about you, got the fever?

hugs,
Jann

Your booth is so cute! I bet you sold it all.

Spring fever definitely hits this time of year. Would you believe that our winter has been so mild, that almost all of my plants from last summer are still living. They are a little rough looking but still alive. I'm still watering and hoping they stay with me. :)

The only fever I have, Jann, is the fever of sheer delight at that opening photo and all the other lovelies!! Oh my....that pink phone...where oh where did you find it. Your booth at Olsen's Greenhouse is a masterpiece!! Too, too many pretties. I especially love the bowl with the pretty pastel glasses. What a pity you live up there and I live down here. =)

lol At first I was like oh no poor Jann!! You got me!!! LOVE the beauty of your booth!! Very Spring Like!! We are so cold here in Michigan we have been dripping the faucet at night and using the kerosene heater to heat our bedroom which actually use to be the garage so it gets real chilly! Oh I saw some real cuties there in your pics!! Oh the bummer of living so far away!!! You are certainly blessed and talented my pretty friend!!! Thanks for sharing!! XOXO Love Fran.

Hehe- fun title! I feel that way often about all the things I get myself into! Looks like you had a fun time this weekend! Spring is so far off for us up here I try not to think of it too early on though as soon as Valentine's Day is past I will be allowing myself to!

Lots and lots of eye candy here! People must have swarmed to your booth! I want each and every one of those dyed bottle brush trees! And the pink phone is a treasure! We haven't even had a real winter yet so we're all waiting on that here in the Northeast. Spring is so far away that I haven't given it a thought.

Jann,
Nope!!! No "Spring Fever" here (yet), dear friend!!!
I'm all a~do in Winter White!!!
Love your sweet, sweet booth!!!
The Velveteen Rabbit would probably have come home with me!!!
It's my all time childhood favorite to read to little ones!!!
I saw some (faux) green hued tulips on a blog last week
that nearly sent me over the top!!!
Do you think I've been exposed enough to possibly come down with "Spring Fever"???
Fondly,
Pat

Love, love, love your booth! Nifty treasures. I know what you mean about spring fever; it's very cold here in NC (temps into the teens tonight). When it's like this, there are a few complications in my critter care. So tonight I brought in all the chicken waterers so I won't have to thaw them in the morning. The donkey have one waterer that's heated, and we just let the other two freeze till the sun gets to them. We left cold Michigan for moderately warm North Carolina back in 1983. This c-c-c-cold offends us. But that will change. I will have daffodills in February and irises soon after that.

I love a fresh batch of new snow...to cover the old gray stuff...but not quite ready for spring. A friend, Holly, was quite clever the other day when she said her "sheet" of new snow wasn't quite deep enough to call a "blanket." I was thinking of her this weekend when we got a "comforter" of fresh snow.

Your booth looks like so much fun.

I thought I would do something like this show once I retired, but I am too darn lazy!

No Spring fever for me, because after that it's our brutal Summers here in Texas. I love Winter here!
